The twelve

Twelve shades, one formula.

Touch a stroke to see it on the bullet. Open it to see it on skin.

On skin

Every shade, six skins.

The same colour reads differently on every mouth. Here is how.

A mouth and jaw in warm light, the colour still glossy before it sets.

One formula

Three things it does.

  1. Goes on wet, sets to satin.

Applied, it is a gloss. In about ninety seconds the oils settle into the wax and the colour sets to a soft satin that does not move.

  2. One coat, eight hours.

One pass holds its colour through a working day and a dinner. It fades evenly, never to a ring, and it does not bleed past the line.

  3. Twelve ingredients, named plainly.

No fragrance, no mica, no drying alcohol. Every ingredient is printed on the case in words you can read.

Saison 01

Cire, the campaign.

Low light, bare skin and one colour. Photographed in a black studio.

A woman in a dark jacket looks straight at the camera, her lips a clean red.
Lacre, one coat.
Close view of a mouth in a red that has set to satin.
Ninety seconds later.
Waves of red and black lacquer catching the light.
Seven coats on brass.
A woman in a black dress sits in a dark studio, her lips a deep garnet red.
Grenat, in very little light.
A woman in profile draws a red lipstick across her lower lip.
From the corner, toward the centre.
