Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.2 at level AA on every page.
Motion
The film, the seal and the reveal respect your device’s reduced motion setting. With it on, the film is a still picture of the finished word, and the seal and the reveal are still pictures in the same order, each with a play button you can choose to press. Nothing moves on its own for longer than five seconds.
Keyboard
Every control works from the keyboard. The shade wall is a list of links: focus a stroke to try its colour, press Enter to open it. The seal and the reveal each have a play button, so you never need to scroll to see them.
Colour and type
Text is ivory on near black, at a contrast of at least 7 to 1 for body copy. The shade colours tint buttons and strokes but never the text you need to read: button colours are darkened where needed so the label stays above 4.5 to 1.
3D and video
The 3D lipstick is decoration. Every scene has a text description, and a still picture is shown first. The 3D only loads on a device with a graphics card.
